Grounds for election

Lisa is co-founder of DigVentures (DV), a collaborative archaeology platform specialising in crowdfunding, crowdsourcing and digital methods to increase public participation in archaeological research and heritage projects. Since 2012, DV has raised over £1m in matched grants and crowdfunding for 37 projects across the UK and beyond, bringing innovation to the archaeological process from tech to public engagement. DV has transformed the sector in the adoption of social media techniques for better participation and communication of active research in archaeology. She has held leadership posts in several organisations including LOCOG, Current Archaeology and the Paleontological Research Institution. Lisa is a Clore Fellow and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and lectures internationally on crowdfunding for culture, innovation in archaeology, evaluating impact, and engagement with digital technology in a heritage context. She was a keynote speaker at Google HQ for REMIX London.
