Samantha is a Properties Curator at English Heritage. She advises on and oversees the conservation management of a wide range of scheduled ancient monuments and historic buildings across the southeast of England. She has been project curator on major projects at Carisbrooke Castle, Portchester Castle and Osborne House. Sam was awarded the Institute of Building Conservation Gus Astley Award 2015 for her research into urban exploration as a non-traditional approach to heritage and has published on the role of gender in conservation and heritage interpretation.
