Dr Rebecca Pinner is a Senior Lecturer at the University of East Anglia, where she specialises in Medieval and Early Modern literature. Dr Pinner has published widely on the cult of saints in the later Middle Ages, and is a recognised authority on the cult of St Edmund in medieval East Anglia. Dr Pinner has contributed to numerous academic publications, and her own monograph, 'The Cult of St Edmund in Medieval East Anglia' (Boydell, 2015) was long-listed for the Katharine Briggs Award, 2016. She is currently Deputy Director of the Centre for East Anglian Studies, and an active participant in the AHRC funded 'Connected Communities' Heritage Network.
