Andrew Long is the Founding Director of one of the largest and most reputable cultural resource management consultancy firms in Victoria, Australia, incorporating aspects of both Aboriginal and non-indigenous heritage. He has extensive knowledge and experience in delivering a broad range of archaeological planning studies, management solutions and mitigation strategies to both the public and private sectors.He was recently appointed as Aboriginal heritage consultant to the Melbourne 2030 process. Andrew Long has been a consultant archaeologist and heritage project manager in Victoria, NSW, South Australia, Tasmania, Queensland and the United Kingdom, for the past 23 years. Born and educated in the UK and a Durham archaeology graduate, he completed his research M.Litt on Viking Settlement in NW Scotland at Glasgow University.
