Grounds for election

Robert Hill has been interested for a number of years in the study of medieval objects, especially arms & armour. He has employed his expertise in Xray computerised tomography to study, for example, the shield of King Henry V from Westminster Abbey, numerous Viking swords, and pieces of historic furniture from the Wallace Collection. Publications include ”Preliminary results of medical computerised scanning of swords and other edged weapons” Journal of the Arms & Armour Society, 21 (2014) 141 –155.
