Involved in East Kent archaeology, Rob has a leading role in the NLHF-funded "Pathways to the Past" project that uncovered the mid 7th Century church in Lyminge. He recently set up the "Royal Saxon Way", a mid-distance walking route linking historic churches. His publications mostly focus on Anglo-Saxon period. Publications include: 2017 Antiquarians, Victorian Parsons and re-writing the past: How Lyminge Parish Church acquired an invented dedication.
