Grounds for election

Rob Witcher is a leading academic in Roman archaeology who has worked primarily on landscapes with a particular focus on Roman Italy. He was a key member of the team which undertook the Tiber Valley Project at the British School at Rome (the final report on which has recently been published). He has published very widely in his own right, and is currently the editor of the important journal Antiquity.
