Grounds for election

Richard Beleson is a numismatist and philanthropist. His trust for cultural heritage projects supports a range of institutions in the UK, including the British Museum, Fitzwilliam Museum, York Museum Trust, the Vindolanda Trust as well as the purchase of hoards for British museums and international projects such as the multi-language series of books on Roman frontiers. He is generous with making available his coin collection for academic publications.
