Internationally recognised for expertise in European decorative arts, patterns of collecting and display, court culture and the arts of the table. Curator of groundbreaking exhibitions, including 'Fragile Diplomacy: Meissen Porcelain of European Courts, c.1710-63' (BGC/YUP, 2007) and 'The Grand Cure (Die Grande Kur): A Disabled Saxon Prince and his Tour of Italy, 1738-40' (Dresden State Museums, 2018), the latter rooted in unparalleled travel diaries and other archival research, shared on the website: comtedelusace.wordpress.com. She has lectured on The Grand Tour and travel history and written articles for academic journals, including one on the dispersal of Cardinal Gualtieri's 'museum' in Rome for The Burlington Magazine, June 2015. Her forthcoming catalogue of a private collection of over 700 architectural drawings includes many competition and reconstruction drawings by French and British Rome prize aspirants and recipients.
