Dr Haslam is the Society’s Curator at Kelmscott Manor where she has been working with distinction since 2012. A specialist in the Arts and Crafts Movement she has a background in museums including Newstead Abbey, the V&A, Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery and the Geffrye Museum. As Curator at the Blackwell Arts and Crafts House Museum between 2007 and 2012 she was responsible for the presentation and care of one of England’s most important Arts and Crafts buildings, mounting exhibitions of contemporary crafts and of historical subjects related to the house and its context. A trustee of the William Morris Society between 1995 and 2018, she continues to act as its Advisor on curatorial and display matters. In 2013 she was Associate Curator for the major retrospective at Tullie House, George Howard, 9th Earl of Carlisle. She has published research in a series of journals and museum catalogues.
