Grounds for election

Tim has extensive experience as a field archaeologist who has worked in both the commercial and public sectors including the Peak District National Park Authority, English Heritage and more recently, Historic England. In his current role, Tim is a Development Advice Team Leader for the Midlands Regional Team for Historic England, where he is responsible for the management of a cohort of archaeological and conservation specialists who provide advice to Government and owners and across the planning system; and, who undertake proactive work to conserve and protect vulnerable historic assets and places. Tim's role also includes the duties of the Inspector of Ancient Monuments for Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. Tim has published articles relating to archaeological curation, is particularly interested in the multi-period landscapes and towns of the English Midlands; and, making those communities safer better places for communities to live, work and enjoy.
