Grounds for election

Win Scutt is a Properties Curator for English Heritage. Between 1978-1998 he was Assistant Keeper of Archaeology at Plymouth City Museums and Lecturer in Tourism and Archaeology at City College Plymouth and the University of Plymouth, where he established a Foundation Degree in Archaeological Practice. Since 2016, Win has been responsible for the management of the Tintagel Castle Archaeological Research Project. He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists and sits on the Executive Board of the European Association of Archaeologists, where he holds the position of Social Media Editor. Win is committed to the protection of the historic environment and has developed effective collaborative partnerships with law enforcement and heritage sector partners to mitigate the threat of crime and anti-social behaviour. Fieldwork experience includes supervising of excavations at Hambledon Hill 1975-1977; Phylakopi 1975; Yeavering 1976; and, the Stonehenge Riverside Project.
