Grounds for election

Dr Mullen is a leading specialist in the languages of the Roman West having published widely on the use of Latin and Celtic and the sociolinguistic implications of their adoption. She has authored four books and a large number of papers and is currently leading an ERC project on the Latinization of the NW Roman provinces. She was co-director of the Canterbury Hinterland Project, using archaeological survey methods to investigate Roman Kent.
