Prof Jones is a leading historian of Tudor England. Over a long career, he has produced a number of books and many articles on aspects of early modern English politics and religion, including The English Reformation (2002). Holder of a PhD from Cambridge, Jones has held fellowships at Oxford University, Cambridge University, Harvard University, and the Huntington Library.
