Grounds for election

Archaeologist with over 35 years’ experience. Worked extensively in the Somerset Levels (1977-1980), former a member of Dorset Archaeological Committee and author of their report on the archaeological implications for the Dorchester by-pass. Published work o the Somerset Levels. In the last 20 years has concentred on archaeology in Sussex, co-directing and publishing internationally important Palaeolithic site at Beedings with fellow Matthew Pope. She has lectured widely in Sussex being tutor of British and European prehistory and archaeological theory at Sussex University. Involved with the Sussex Archaeological Society for 20 years being former council member, chairman and currently now their President.
