Grounds for election

Dr Cate Frieman is Senior Lecturer in European Archaeology at The Australian National University (ANU), an Australian Research Council DECRA Fellow and has received teaching awards from ANU and from the Australian National Office of Teaching and Learning. Her research specialises in the landscapes and material culture of later European prehistory, especially lithic technology, with recent fieldwork in Cornwall, but her interests and publication record are broad. Her most recent book is The Archaeology of Innovation: Approaching Social and Technological Change in Human Society (Manchester University Press, 2021).
