Grounds for election

Charlotte has worked in archaeology since 1998, on field excavations & research projects in the UK & abroad. She directed archaeological fieldwork for UCL in North London in 2017, with further work planned for 2021 focusing on outreach & enabled archaeology. Since 2008, she has worked at the Institute of Archaeology in a wide-ranging role across student recruitment, support, outreach, careers, fieldwork & public engagement. This has included the development & delivery of residential programmes for prospective undergraduates, a key role as Careers Tutor & the creation of the Institute’s social media channels. Her latest project is a series of over 60 podcasts with colleagues, students & alumni focusing on life during the pandemic. Charlotte was awarded UCL Public Engager of the Year in 2013 & has been nominated for numerous UCL awards. In 2016, working with Dr Carolyn Rando, Charlotte created the UCL Equality, Diversity & Inclusion forum & she now chairs the Institute's EDI Committee.
