Grounds for election

Dr Groll works for the York Glaziers Trust and the Buero Rauch art consultancy. She is a research associate of the University of York, secretary and assistant editor of the British Corpus Vitrearum and awards coordinator for the Glaziers Company. Her PhD explored the transatlantic trade in stained glass 1890-1950. Her research focuses on collection histories, the restoration and adaption of stained glass, and the art market for medieval artworks, contributing to greater understanding of the world’s three largest museum stained glass collections, the Burrell Collection, the V&A and Metropolitan Museum of Art. Publications include ‘The Herkenrode Glass at Lichfield Cathedral: Acquisition, Installation, and Context’ in The Stained Glass of Herkenrode Abbey, Corpus Vitrearum (GB) VII (forthcoming) and ‘Burrell, Thomas and Drake, and the Glazing of Hutton Castle (1928-32)’, K. Boulanger and M. Herold, Le Vitrail dans le demeure, des Origines à nos jours, Vitrer et Orner la fenêtre (2018).
