Grounds for election

Dr Moreed Arbabzadah is a Cambridge-based classicist, working primarily on Greek and Latin textual criticism, palaeography and epigraphy, and with a particular interest in ancient magic, and in medieval Latin hagiography. He is a Director of Studies at Pembroke College, Cambridge, an Affiliated Lecturer at the Faculty of Classics, and a Research Associate at the Faculty of History. He has published on Anglo-Dutch literary relations in the medieval and early modern periods, on Greek and Latin curse tablets, on the Anglo-Flemish abbess Matilda of Bailleul (c. 1132-1212), and on the Norman poet Serlo of Bayeux. He is currently collaborating with Professor Hugh Thomas (University of Miami) on a volume on Henry the Young King (1155-83).
