Grounds for election

Dr. Gathagan has performed distinguished service to her profession as the Editor of the Haskins Society Journal since 2011. The Haskins Society Journal is an annual international refereed journal, and includes papers on topics in the many fields and periods of the medieval past including but not limited to Early English, Viking, Norman, and Angevin history as well as the history of the neighbouring peoples and territories. She has also published widely in the field of medieval studies, with works on Medieval Elite Women (with Heather Tanner and Lois L. Huneycutt, 2018), Matilda of Flanders (d. 1083), and A Companion to the Abbey of Le Bec in the Middle Ages (edited with Benjamin Pohl, 2017). She has been a Councillor of the Haskins Society for twelve years.
