Eóin Parkinson is an established Mediterranean prehistorian with an interdisciplinary coverage of prehistoric art, chronology, osteology, historiography, archaeology and fieldwork. He is an editor of three monographs on ancient health, bioarchaeology and settlement, focused in substantial part on the Maltese islands. He has published a wide and innovative range of articles on human remains, settlement and burial organisation and chronological principally from the central Mediterranean, but also from Northern Ireland. He has held post-doctoral posts based in Cambridge and Rome and currently in Malta.
