Deputy Chief Executive and Advisory Services lead at the Glamorgan-Gwent Archaeological Trust. Holds Master in Business Administration as well as archaeological qualifications and professional accreditation. Extensive experience in providing archaeological and historic conservation advice to national and local government and other bodies and persons in South Wales, with delivery both in and outside the planning framework at strategic and casework levels. Has carried out related research. Strategic work includes the development of local authority historic environment planning policies and supplementary planning guidance for the management of archaeological assets by various Unitary Authorities. Archaeological Adviser with Swansea and Brecon Diocesan Advisory Committee. Currently Chair of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists Wales/Cymru Regional Group and leading the quinquennial revision of the Wales Archaeological Research Agenda.
