Grounds for election

Vicki has worked in archaeology for over 30 years, mainly in London, where she led several projects in the City for the Museum of London (DGLA). She joined Pre-Construct Archaeology (PCA) in 1995, first as a supervisor on site, before moving to the post-excavation team in 1999. Since 2004 she has led the management, editing and production of PCA’s monograph series and publications, which involves collaboration in the excavation and publication of complex urban sites of all periods from London and beyond. Recent significant publications, which she co-authored, include sites at the British Museum, King’s Cross, Tabard Square, and Thameslink. Current publication programs include Drapers’ Gardens and Fenchurch Street in the City, Fulham Palace, the excavations in advance of the Bedale Aiskew and Leeming Bar bypass, North Yorkshire and the publication of major excavations and building recording work at Alnwick Castle Gardens in Northumberland.
