Dr Shaw is currently a Senior Lecturer in the School of Culture, History and Language, ANU. He is a leading archaeologist working on Papua New Guinea's past, in particular the Massim and the inland Madang regions. Dr Shaw is also in receipt of a number of large grants and has promptly published the results of his research in leading journals.
