Grounds for election

A professional and academic aerial archaeologist, Chris Cox has worked throughout the UK, Europe and the Near East since 1985, as a specialist air photo interpreter, archaeologist, expert witness and aerial surveyor. Chris provides professional development training and mentoring of entry level, graduate, post graduate and professional level archaeologists in teaching and encouraging young archaeologists into the academic and commercial heritage sectors. She has taught air photo interpretation for archaeology at the Universities of Sheffield, Oxford and Bristol, has published widely since 1989 on various aspects of worldwide aerial archaeology and air photo interpretation and researched and written over 500 research and assessment reports which contribute to Historic Environment Records in the UK. She is a Council Member and NVQassessor for the Institute for Archaeologists, a member of the Society of Expert Witnesses and of the Aerial Archaeology Research Group.
