Grounds for election

Graham has been involved in archaeological fieldwork since 1972 and was a member of the supervisory teams on the Danebury, Danebury Environs and Danebury Roman excavation programmes (1974–2004) and the Brading Roman Villa excavation (2008–10). After a first degree in economics and a career as a lecturer in business management, Graham completed a PhD entitled ‘The role of supply-chains in the development of cross-channel exchange in the Romano-British period’ which is now being prepared for publication. He has been Hon General Secretary of the Bristol & Gloucestershire Archaeological Society since 2018 and has played a leading (and very hard-working) role in the first major revision of the BGAS constitution since the Society was established in 1876. He chairs the BGAS Committee for Archaeology in Gloucestershire and is a former trustee of Corinium museum.
