Grounds for election

Dr Dominique Bouchard is Head of Learning and Interpretation at English Heritage where she oversees exhibitions, digital interpretation, publications, and learning across the national portfolio of more than 400 sites in the National Heritage Collection. She is a 2021 Clore Fellow and an Honorary Visiting Fellow at the Research Centre for Museums and Galleries at the University of Leicester. Dominique has fifteen years’ experience leading exhibitions, public programmes and learning in museums and heritage organisations in the UK, Ireland and Hong Kong. She is a trained archaeologist and has excavated in Italy and in Greece. She received her DPhil at the University of Oxford. Her doctoral research explored the relationship between public art, identity and power in Medieval and Renaissance south Italy. Her publications are in the area of curatorial practice, interaction design, digital technology in museums, and community engagement in divided societies.
