Guy was a founding Partner of L - P : Archaeology in 1999, and has lead the growth of the company from a two person consultancy to one of the larger privately held archaeological units in the UK. LP has built a reputation for innovative and ethically sound practice, placing the archaeologist and archaeological considerations at the core of all activities. LP currently have a team of around 100, across four offices. Guy has also directed several key projects during this time: Four excavations for Grange Hotels in and around the City of London (Coopers Row, LAMAS 2010; Prescot Street; Faraday Buildings; 100 Minories). Three excavations as part of the Ring Main Project at Hampton Court Palace for HRP. A large urban cemetery at Middlesex Annex for Iceni Projects. Major excavations at St Mary's Church, Stoke Mandeville, for HS2. His work encompasses urban archaeological practice focused on London, cemetery archaeology and digital archaeology; developing methods, techniques and software.
