Grounds for election

Dr Brady has established a strong reputation for herself as a research scholar in cross-linguistic and integrated studies of the various populations in Britain and Ireland of the Early Medieval Period. Her first monograph, 'Writing the Welsh Borderlands in Anglo-Saxon England' (2017), won two first-book awards, and will be joined later this year by a CUP monograph on 'The Origin Legends of Early Medieval Britain and Ireland'. She has published many papers and chapters on textual sources across the Middle Ages. Her future research plans comprise a major project taking the study of interaction between British, Gaelic, English and Scandinavian further in their material and genetic contexts by developing the theme of personal and social mobility.
