Grounds for election

Anne Teather is engaged in research on the European Neolithic and archaeological theory, specialising in material culture and its deposition. Her academic publications include a monograph, two co-edited volumes, and a series of original research papers on chalk artefacts, chalk art, firelighting kits in burials; and the theoretical implications of Bayesian analyses in Neolithic deposits. She has been an invited speaker at several international academic meetings and research workshops. In 2019 she participated in Prof Mary Morgan’s ERC Narrative Science Project. She supervised on The Stonehenge Riverside Project and at The Ness of Brodgar. She is currently co-Director of the field project The Prehistoric Landscape of Tenants Hill, West Dorset. She has taught at a number of HE institutions, is a Trustee of The Prehistoric Society and an invited member of the TAG Committee. Together with Dr Rachel Pope she has campaigned actively on equality and diversity matters in Archaeology since 2008
