Fay Stevens is an archaeologist and award-winning lecturer and researcher. She is Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of Notre Dame, Visiting Lecturer at University of Winchester, Sessional Tutor at University of Oxford (OUDCE and OUSSA), Visiting Lecturer in academic literacies, research methods, theory and practice for The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Guest Lecturer in research methods for the University of Western Macedonia and Associate Lecturer in academic literacies at Oxford Brookes University. Her specialism is in the philosophy of phenomenology and her work has a clear pedagogy of embedded research and practice with postgraduate teacher training qualifications that developed educational models of reflexive learning and disciplinary writing. Her research output includes publications on Bronze Age metalwork deposition, the iconic Snake Goddess figurines from Knossos, Crete, sustainability in archaeology, and the archaeology of waterscapes.
