Prof. Wilkinson has advanced scholarly understanding of medieval history and medieval women by publishing 7 books, 6 edited essay collections, and 16 book chapters and articles. She was a co-investigator of the AHRC-funded' Henry III Fine Rolls' and 'Magna Carta' projects. She now leads the medieval studies research group at the University of Lincoln. She has also served as joint General Editor and Chair of the Council of the Pipe Roll Society.
