Grounds for election

Naomi Field has been a professional field archaeologist for the past 40 years, working mainly in the commercial sector. She has been based in her adopted county of Lincolnshire for the whole of her career. Since 2011 she has been a Senior Archaeological Consultant for Prospect Archaeology Ltd working throughout England, mainly in a project management role, preparing assessment reports, and undertaking historic building surveys. Naomi was elected MCIfA in 1992. She was Archaeology Advisor on the Lincoln DAC from 1985-2019. She is a long standing member of the Society for Lincolnshire History and Archaeology, where she has acted in several different roles over the years. She is currently assistant to the editor of the journal and President of the Society (2021-2024). Her publications include Gainsborough Old Hall, Fiskerton Iron Age timber causeway, and the multi-period site on Blakeney Eye, Cley in Norfolk. Her more recent research has been in historic building recording.
