Grounds for election

Stuart Palmer has been professionally involved in archaeology for some forty years. Since 2011 he has been the Chief Archaeologist for Archaeology Warwickshire, managing the County Council’s field archaeology team. He has published extensively, with a particular emphasis on later prehistoric and Romano-British Warwickshire. Publications include the prehistoric and Roman introduction to the recently revised Warwickshire volume of the Pevsner Buildings of England series, and overviews of prehistoric Warwickshire for volumes in the West Midlands Archaeological Research Frameworks series, as well as a number of excavation reports. He is a Trustee of the Rollright Stones, a member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists Advisory Board, and a board member of the Federation of Archaeological Managers and Employers.
