Eleri Lynn is a fashion and textiles curator and historian, specialising in the Tudor period. She gained her experience as an Assistant Curator within the Furniture, Textiles and Fashion Department of the Victoria and Albert Museum before becoming Curator of the Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection at Historic Royal Palaces. She is currently Head of Exhibitions at National Museum Wales and a Trustee of the Royal School of Needlework, based at Hampton Court Palace. She has presented at numerous academic conferences, and as a guest lecturer at several universities. She is also regularly interviewed by the press and for TV documentaries, including the BBC2 ‘Art That Made Us’ series. She is the author of several monographs: Fashion in Detail: Underwear (V&A, 2010), Tudor Fashion (Yale, 2017) and Tudor Textiles (Yale, 2020). She has curated several major exhibitions, and is a champion of public engagement and inclusion.
