Grounds for election

Rebecca is a highly experienced and effective curator, with a strong pedigree of research, dissemination and teaching. She is currently Director of Collections and Learning at the Royal Academy and has previously served as Director of Royal Collection Studies for the Attingham Trust, as a curator with the National Trust and as Director of Fine and Decorative Art for Christie's Education. She is also in the process of completing her PhD on the collecting and display of George IV's picture collection. She has presented papers relating to George IV's collecting at a number of conferences including at the IHR/Wallace Collection in 2014, and published on the subject too. Her chapter on 'Lord Yarmouth, the Prince Regent and the role of the royal agent 1806–19' appears in Susan Bracken and Adriana Turpin (eds), Art Markets, Agents and Collectors, 2021, and she also contributed a chapter to Kate Heard and Kathryn Jones (eds), George IV: Art and Spectacle, 2019, accompanying the exhibition.
