Grounds for election

Dr Vine is a leading scholar in the history of early modern British antiquarianism and its relationship with various forms of literature. He has published two monographs, including one on Michael Drayton's Poly-Olbion, and another on manuscript culture and the organization of knowledge in early modern English. A third monograph is in progress and he is currently a British Academy mid-career Fellow. He is also the author of several articles in learned journals and in edited volumes.
