Editor of Church Monuments and a scholar of medieval and early Renaissance funerary monuments, in 2018 Ann was awarded a PhD by the Courtauld for a thesis on the tombs of the Knights of the Golden Fleece from the reigns of Philip the Good to Philip the Fair. She has made a major contribution to the study of medieval funerary monuments in England and northern Europe, demonstrating their art historical, social and political significance. Ann has published and lectured widely and was co-editor of an acclaimed collection of essays published by Courtauld Books Online. A banker by profession and selfless in her dedication to scholarship, Ann will be an asset to the Antiquaries.
