Grounds for election

Cameron Petrie conducts research on the archaeology of Iran, Pakistan and India. His research focuses on the the rise of complex societies and the social and economic aspects of state formation, the impact of states and empires has on subjugated regions. He has directed a series of major research projects in each of these countries and has an extensive publication record. He is also currently editor of the journal Iran.
